Kopan Monastery offers residential facilities for its guests, students, and retreaters in comfortable accommodation. Different levels of accommodation are available, from Deluxe Suite to Dormitory.
Kopan Monastery is a monastery, not a hotel, and the room allocation is different from a hotel where you book a specific room. We have certain types of rooms of various standards, most of them fon a share basis. Your room is allocated according to the date of your registration and taking into consideration your preferences. If you book late and the course is heavily booked, you usually get allocated a dormitory bed.
Within our system, it is not possible to tell in advance what room you will be allocated, and you only find out the kind of room upon arrival.
